Angie Moon & Ms Miranda talk about Mixed Race Erasure

A while ago I was on my best friend Amanda’s YouTube channel to talk about the erasure of mixed race people. She and I have been close friends for years and we bond over classic rock, vintage clothing, and we have a lot of other things in common. Both of us are mixed, but commonly get mistaken for something else. We both find ourselves used as political footballs because of our identities and that can be really challenging sometimes.

While I’m used to having my identity erased and invalidated, sometimes these comments get to me and because I have OCD, the nasty comments play over and over again like a record. Inside my brain is a turntable, and sadly it’s not always playing classic rock. I expand more on this and other topics in this livestream:

Hope you like it!
